    Job Description

    The undergraduate intern will join the Onsite team as a member on the Marketing Center of Excellence (COE). In this role, you will support our work advising portfolio company marketing teams on challenges/opportunities faced in marketing, evaluating marketing elements at potential investments, and building best-in-class processes and approaches that our portfolio companies can leverage.

    This is a great opportunity to understand the challenges of high-growth ScaleUp tech companies and to learn how companies grow and scale effectively. Every engagement will differ, but some common responsibilities include:

    • Research markets and competitors to support due diligence on new investments and support with marketing performance analysis
    • Build reporting for new investments and portfolio companies compiling data from proprietary and public data sources
    • Support the creation of thought leadership content documenting best practices and participate in our online portfolio community
    • Collaborate on Marketing advisory engagements with portfolio companies, including but not limited to deep analysis on go-to-market strategies and advisory on demand gen programs, MarTech stack, messaging and positioning, etc.
  • Qualifications
    • Must currently be enrolled full time in an undergraduate degree with an outstanding record of academic achievement (business or quantitative degrees are a plus)
    • Intellectual curiosity and a bias towards developing a point of view; ability to productively contribute to team perspective and to learn independently
    • Strong analytical skills in both quantitative data analysis and qualitative, strategic synthesis of that data
    • There should be an understanding of how to utilize data, whether quantitative or qualitative, to build readouts, inform decision-makers, and drive impact
    • Strong written and oral communication skills, notably the ability to communicate succinctly with impact and to create narratives in PowerPoint
    • The ability to work independently to push initiatives forward and a strong attention to detail
