    We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Finance team in Sacramento. This is a key role that keeps cash flowing so our branches and sales teams can continue delivering outstanding service to our customers.

    What You’ll Do (and Why It Matters)

    • Prepare and send customer statements and manage the full AR cycle
    • Apply payments accurately and investigate/resolve discrepancies quickly
    • Make outbound calls to remind customers of invoices that are becoming overdue
    • Monitor aging reports, make collection calls, and help keep bad debt low
    • Process credit applications and support job accounts (including lien releases)
    • Reconcile deposits and assist with cash drawer and bank deposit processes
    • Provide excellent support to branch teams and customers on billing questions
    • Handle general accounting and administrative tasks that keep the department running smoothly

    You’ll play a meaningful role in our company’s financial health while working closely with a supportive Finance team led by Sandra Reinhart.

    What We’re Looking For

    • High School Diploma (or equivalent)
    • At least 1 year of Accounts Receivable, bookkeeping, or similar experience
    • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general office systems
    • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
    • Professional phone demeanor and customer service mindset
    • Ability to work independently while collaborating with the team
    • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with deadlines

    Bonus: Experience in distribution or wholesale is a plus, but not required.
