Medical Device Leadership Development Program More than just a career, an opportunity to save lives Our Mission: MDLDP is dedicated to internally developing undergraduates into future business leaders through challenging assignments within the Endoscopy Commercial organization. These experiences, paired with a structured developmental cadence and personalized coaching provide the platform for career advancement at Boston Scientific. Program Overview: MDLDP will prepare participants for roles of increasing responsibility in the Endoscopy Commercial Organization. Participants will begin their career participating in a 9 month comprehensive rotational program at the corporate office residing within the Boston area. Here they will gain insight and experience pertaining to the functional departments that support the Field Sales Organization. They will spend 4-8 weeks in each rotation learning the main objectives and functions of the department, and taking an active role in special projects. Throughout the 9 month program participants will be working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and gaining experience both internally and externally working directly in the field with various Field Sales employees. In addition, participants will also have the opportunity to experience international exposure to better understand the global aspects of the organization and business. Once completing the 9 month internal rotation, participants will relocate to a determined field sales location and participate as a customer facing educational and territory support sales role. Eligible participants will advance into an Account Specialist role with the introduction of sales revenue responsibilities, in addition to educational and clinical support. The program is designed to give participants exposure to diverse functions across the organization and the opportunity to pursue personal development and future positions across several functions including Marketing, Product Development, R&D, Sales Training, Healthcare Economics, Sales Operations, and Customer Education. Key Responsibilities: - Complete 9 month comprehensive rotational program in various departments and gain insight and understanding of different functional roles and departments that support the Field Sales Organization. - Develop and implement a proactive plan that involves clinical and service support, with Region Managers and team members, to maintain market share and increase the quality of service to customers.
