A Cycle Counter checks product inventory by counting inventory on a rotating basis throughout a given year and identifies quantities on hand, and matches them to current records. Any discrepancies are caught and analyzed.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Maintains accurate inventory by performing daily cycle counts on products in the warehouse and monitors the performance and effectiveness of cycle counting and reports findings to management.

• Reviews customer returns and ensures these returns are processed in accordance with company operating procedures.

• Investigates reasons for inventory discrepancies, develops strategies to prevent future discrepancies, and verifies and corrects any discrepancies as necessary.

• Conducts product line/shelving reorganization and ensures accuracy of bin locations in the warehouse. Trains and monitors personnel for same.

• Maintains an accurate inventory count of ready-to-pack and ready-to-return-to-vendor items by performing daily physical counts and automated inventory transactions and adjustments as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of two years inventory control/purchasing/warehousing experience preferred.

• Knowledge of electrical product lines and vendors’ products preferred.

• Solid PC skills including spreadsheets.

• Detail oriented and organized with excellent follow through.

Pay Details:

• The expected rate of pay for this position is $23.00 - $28.00 hourly.
