(0002) - North America - Position Summary: The summer internship (May August 2018) is with the Market Research & Insights team. The Market Research & Insights Intern is principally responsible for aiding to conduct primary research and leveraging secondary research through analysis and data mining to help inform business priorities. The Market Research Intern helps link consumers, customers and shoppers to Dawns Marketing teams through market information and consumer insights. Position Responsibilities: - Collaborate and participate within Marketing / R&D functions. - Communicate with Dawn Market Research Managers to understand business objectives & priorities. - Confidently present research results to research Manager/Director. - Develop a preliminary understanding of basic research methods and uses. - Simple Data analysis, as well as data mining of existing custom and syndicated research to address specific business issues. - Track competitive activity and summarize for distribution to Marketing / R&D teams. - Assist in development of Insights Summary for Food Service Channel Marketing / Sales teams. - Demonstrate the Dawn Values of Team Dawn and support the Dawn Circle of Excellence throughout the duration of the internship program. Minimum Qualifications: - Current enrollment within a Business, Marketing, Market Research or related program at an accredited educational institution. - OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Marketing Research, Statistics, Mathematics, Psychology, Anthropology or other related field. - 1-3 years working with Market Research, Business, Food Industry. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships that facilitate learning, promote teamwork, and demonstrate exemplary customer service.

    • Previous experiences utilizing basic computer applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet navigation). - Demonstrable quantitative and analytical skills. - Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and projects.
