    Supply Chain Intern **Job Summary: **The Supply Chain Analyst Intern

    will work closely with senior leadership and will be responsible for a variety of supplier performance, net product cost and continuous improvement projects. Working at the direction of key stakeholders, they will use quantitative analysis methods to uncover insights and drive improved business performance. ** ** **Reports to: **Vice President Supply Chain ** ** Company: Direct Supply is the nations leading supplier of equipment, services and eCommerce systems to the Senior Living profession. Essential Job Functions Responsibilities: * Use quantitative analysis methods to understand and communicate supplier performance including net product and service cost after incentives. * Maintain and evolve business rules and documentation for using product and service cost data across our lines of business. * Provide improvement recommendations to key stakeholders substantiated by data. * Develop reporting and process to share information with key stakeholders (using Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel and IBM Cognos) * Other duties as required by senior leadership. Minimum Qualifications: * Currently enrolled in a bachelors or masters degree program, preferably in Math, Accounting or Finance, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience * Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (vlookup, pivot tables and charts, macros) * Demonstrated ability to produce detailed, error-free work * Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects * Ability to work 15 hours per week while classes are in session and 40 hours per week during breaks Additional Preferred Skills: * Previous Supply Chain experience Competencies: * Approachability * Peer Relationships * Customer Focus * Integrity and Trust * Functional/Technical Skills * Priority Setting * Personal Learning * Drive for Results * Technical Learning * Business Acumen **Primary Location: **WI-Milwaukee **Work Locations: ** **Organization: **Direct Supply, Inc. **Schedule: **Full-time
