Responsibilities Position Overview: CVFFs Environmental team is excited to offer a summer internship program for the summer of 2019. This position will work closely with our team and learn about managing projects and tasks in the nutrient management field. The internship will take place in central Pennsylvania. The individual will work with CVFF to complete tasks such as but not limited to the following: * Develop new and update current maps for manure application in PA one stop * Work with CVFF manure importers to assure current maps are correct * Collect information on conservation plans * Collect information related to importer agreements as updates are needed. Expectations: * Access to a reliable vehicle * This is a full time, paid, 10-12 week position (35-40 hours per week) for summer of 2019 * Work will be completed remotely (from home) with approximately 2 days a week in the field * Intern will be asked to work on various projects both with and without supervision following training. * Following up with internship mentor regularly will be a key part of this role * Start date June 3, 2019 Qualifications Qualities of Ideal Candidate: * Interest in pursuing a career or gaining experience in a real-world nutrient management position * Junior/Senior or student that has completed at least one nutrient management course * Understanding of PA one stop program * Works well independently * Responsible * Good communicator
