    Master Scheduler Driving Infinite Possibilities Within A Diversified, Global Organization The Material Planner will look globally across a business entity to gather and manage information about our businesses supply chain capability to meet the customer demand. This associate will look out over a rolling 18 month period and take into account customer demand, supply capability, inventory policies, and other factors. This planning function is critical for the business to ensure that we optimize our production assets and work as efficiently as possible to meet customer demand while reducing operating cost to the business. This position is accountable for the following key business metrics: Customer OTTR (on-time to request), DOS (days of supply), NPI (Net Production Inventory), and Schedule Adherence. In this role you will, execute Rough-cut Capacity Planning to ensure plan is achievable based on available resources/capacity. Develop line of business inventory forecast by material type for the S&OP planning horizon. - Manage global Inventory stocks: IOS, restricted, blocked, quality inspection, FIFO, shelf life - Optimize and Reduce. - Act as cross-functional liaison to resolve S&OP related issues/exceptions (e. g. backorder rescheduling) - Meet weekly with production personnel to validate/update the latest schedule. - Owner of the relevant material master data. - Balance supply with demand at the SKU level while adhering to established production plan, policies, resource constraints and requirements need date. - Responsible to Execute Production Plan. - Planned Order conversion to Process Orders/Purchase Orders. - Quantity reconciliation responsibility between Process Order and Planned Order quantities. - Work closely with site Logistics/Traffic to coordinate daily shipments. - Coordinate with 3rd Party Logistics on material availability status to satisfy shipment schedule. You Must Have: - Bachelors degree in Business or Supply Chain Management - 3 - 5 years of experience working in a supply chain planning function We Value: - Chemicals industry experience preferred - Experience in international business - Demonstrated deep analytical skills - Demonstrated ability to lead teams and build teamwork to accomplish business objectives - Demonstrated ability to identify business process issues and opportunities and to implement effective improvements and control plans - Experience using Advanced Planning and Scheduling tools (SAP APO, i2, JDA/Manugistics, etc.) - Experience and comfort using ERP and reporting systems - Experience and comfort using all MS Office applications - SAP experience preferred - Diverse operations, distribution resource planning and logistics experience - Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred - Demonstrated ability to use influence to obtain business results - Experience working in a matrix organization preferred - APICS certification + Due to US export control laws, must be a US citizen, permanent resident or have protected status.
