Job Summary:
The HVAC Counter Sales Associates at Johnstone Grimme Group work alongside a compact team of 5-15 crew members within one of our branches. The Counter Sales Representative ensures efficient operations of the branch and is responsible for various duties such as establishing customer relationships, suggestive selling, filling orders, selling properly matched HVAC equipment, and limited telephone marketing. This position requires the ability to meet monthly and annual sales goals. Inside Sales Representatives leverage educating customers on new products, offering hi-efficiency equipment, and building customized rebate and pricing programs to promote customer growth. **** The Counter Sales Position will join our mission to “Make the Tech in the Truck More Efficient” and embrace our vision to “Enhance Lives Through Solutions.”

Essential Functions:
Develop meaningful relationships with customers to encourage trust and loyalty
Understand and demonstrate the product or service to the customer
Determines customer replacement HVAC/R parts according to inspection and/or verbal description
Research and source products for customers using a computer, catalog, telephone, or any other resources to meet or exceed customer needs
Recognizes products commonly purchased by customers and resolves issues
Recognizes and identifies HVAC/R parts and equipment to fulfill customer needs and answer questions
Provide an exceptional level of customer service
Has a sales-focused mindset to increase revenue while maintaining profitability
Enters sales orders into the computer system
Balances cash drawers, create credit invoices, processes pick/pack orders, and will-call
Maintains a professional image of Johnstone Supply by ensuring an exceptional customer shopping experience
Stays informed of new products and utilizes opportunities to educate self, co-workers and customers
Processes customer returns and warranties
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
