Associate Claims Technical Analyst Prime Therapeutics 312 reviews - Eagan, MN The Claims Technical Analyst Associate is responsible for supporting ongoing operational processes within operations teams. This role is responsible for providing assistance on projects, claims adjudication analysis, and system research inquiries. Responsibilities * Perform scheduled maintenance file transmission and validation, including management and resolution of process exceptions * Coordinate cross-functional problem-solving process and tracking of issue resolution * Respond to inquiries related to specific job function process or support systems * Facilitate collection of reporting requirements to retrieve data required for analysis * Research, test, and respond to inquiries regarding RxClaim system capabilities pertaining to plan implementations, product development, sales opportunities, or legally mandated claims processing requirements; update department documentation with gains from research * Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications * Associates degree in Business, Computer Science, IT, Liberal Arts, or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; HS diploma or GED required * 1 year of work experience in healthcare, insurance or related industry * Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship Additional Qualifications * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Ability to coordinate multiple projects / tasks simultaneously under pressure and strict timelines * Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills * Ability to work in fast-paced, collaborative team environment Preferred Qualifications * RxClaim experience * Experience with Medicare Part D and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services rules and regulations * Experience working with claims data or systems Minimum Physical Job Requirements * Ability to work outside of Primes core business hours of 9:00 a.m. 4:00 p.m. as needed * Constantly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, talk and hear * Frequently required to reach with hands and arms * Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, and crouch * Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally may be required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds * Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus Reporting Structure * Reports to a Supervisor or Manager in PBM Operations Prime Therapeutics LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
