REG operates the Buffalo Bisons, Northwest Arkansas Naturals, and the newly formed 2015 NY-Penn League Champions the West Virginia Black Bears, which have major league affiliations with the Toronto Blue Jays, Kansas City Royals, and Pittsburgh Pirates respectively. PURPOSE STATEMENT The Northwest Arkansas Naturals (Double-A Affiliate of the Kansas City Royals) are currently accepting resumes for a full-time Event Coordinator. This position will work with our Marketing & PR Director as well as our Sales Director in a variety of responsibilities KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES - Identify, evaluate, and sell potential clients relative to tickets, groups, suites and sponsorship opportunities. Work to meet and exceed given sales targets. - Prospecting, qualifying leads and setting face-to-face appointments for new business - Maintain electronic account records for the upkeep of customer relationship management database - Manage client relationships and drive the follow up for future marketing programs e.g., understand clients' business priorities and timelines in order to proactively set up marketing presentations. - Oversee Theme Night 4-Pack Program marketing/sales and execution to ensure high quality experience - Identify and evaluate potential clients relative to special events at Arvest Ballpark, to include Sams Club Community Room rentals, to full ballpark events or activities at Arvest Ballpark outside of Naturals baseball games - Maintain client records, quotes, billing contracts and sales report for all special events held - Oversee staff that works these events, including hourly gameday staff, security, and cleaning as event quote dictates. - Work with Promotions Coordinator as needed to assist with gameday implementation, scheduling, or other duties as assigned. - Provide superior customer service to clients and prospects. - Represent the team at various promotional events.
