  • Responsibilities

    PRIMARY DUTIES:

    • Request SPAs for customers as requested by sales.

    • Ensure Ship and Debit SPAs are loaded in a timely manner so that qualifying sales are captured on the sale and claimed at month end.

    • Create new records as required and maintain existing fake customer records that are used to store and maintain SPA Contracts with a consistent format as determined by management.

    • Load and maintain SPA contracts either through the EDI845 Review Queue if vendor sends agreements EDI, via Conexiom, by downloading excel files through E-Term, or manually.

    • Compare revised SPAs to previous versions.

    • Review the EDI845 Review Queue for new and updated SPAs on a daily basis.

    • Assist branch personnel in resolving issues related to SPA cost overrides not picking up properly.

    • Process SPA credits through payables either by EDI849, if vendor is EDI capable, or manually, if credits are issued by vendor at a later date.

    • Follow up with vendors to ensure credits are issued for SPA claims in a timely manner.

    • Work with vendors to resolve SPA claim dollar shortage or overage variances once credits are received.

    • Work with sales and AP on researching and resolving vendor chargeback and missed claim issues discovered.

    • Review all SPAs that will expire within the current month and renew if applicable.

    • Review SPA Override report on a daily basis and take action to resolve.

    • Attend branch/company meetings and events as required. Overnight travel may be necessary.

    • Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

    • Maintain housekeeping, as needed.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Comprehensive PC skills, including, but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

    • Ability to work quickly and accurately under time constraints and against deadlines.

    • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

    • Ability to be detail oriented.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

    • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); and six months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    • MATHEMATICAL & FINANCIAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    • Occasionally standing, walking, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling needed and reaching with hands or arms.

    • Most of the time sitting and using hands to handle or feel.

    • Often talking or hearing.

    • Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less) and the ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus).

    • May be required to work more than 40 hours per week.
