Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required This position will work primarily with the Americas Internal Communications team but will also liaison with members of the Corporate Communications team, the Public Relations group, Tech Data Agency and representatives from Human Resources and other departments within Tech Data as he or she helps draft internal announcements, newsletter stories, meeting presentations and digital message board content for our employee workforce in the U.S., Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean. The role will also be asked to do native speaker checks on materials meant for our Latin America and Caribbean workforce (LAC) in order to help improve our employee engagement rate in LAC. Preferably looking for someone who is fluent in both Spanish & English. The intern would be responsible for helping our team better inform, educate and engage Tech Data Americas workforce by: Helping with our overall internal communications efforts by producing and/or reviewing drafts of announcements, meeting presentations, digital message board slides and other written materials in both English and Spanish; Helping us improve our communications tools by providing input on our intranet revamp project, and uploading information to our existing intranet page; Helping coordinate employee meetings and performing other communications duties as assigned.
