Job Description: As a Massage Therapist at Space Spa & Wellness, you will have the opportunity to utilize your expertise in a variety of massage modalities including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, pre-natal, and reflexology. While knowledge of body treatments, lymphatic, or other modalities is not required, it would be a valuable asset. Alongside massage, we offer skincare, waxing, body treatments, energy work services, and have recently expanded our space to host yoga, meditation, and mindful events, creating a comprehensive wellness experience for our clients.
Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional massage therapy services with a focus on personalized care and attention to each client's unique needs.
Maintain a thorough understanding of our range of massage modalities and be open to training in our specific offerings and services.
Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, ensuring a professional and friendly client experience through excellent communication and customer service skills.
Collaborate with our team of professionals to foster a positive and supportive working environment.
Maintain a professional appearance, reflecting the high standards of our spa.
Continuously develop product and service knowledge to provide clients with health and beauty solutions tailored to their individual preferences.
Ensure cleanliness and organization in treatment rooms, perform necessary prep work, and restock supplies as required.
Job Requirements:
Valid NJ Massage Therapy License
Proof of insurance
Strong references attesting to your skills and professionalism
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in a variety of massage modalities, including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, pre-natal, and reflexology
General understanding of body treatments and a willingness to learn new techniques and therapies
Professionalism, exceptional communication skills, and a genuine desire to provide a warm and welcoming client experience
Friendly and outgoing personality, enjoying collaboration with colleagues in a supportive team environment
Commitment to maintaining a professional, well-groomed appearance
Ability to adapt and learn our specific product and service offerings to meet client needs
Dedication to maintaining a clean and organized work environment
Schedule:
Full and part-time positions are available - flexible scheduling
Morning, afternoon and evening shifts are available during the week, as well as weekends
Space Spa & Wellness operates during the following hours:
Monday: 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Tuesday: Closed
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 10:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Sunday (every other): 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
