    JOB SUMMARY

    Reporting to the Sr. Operations Manager, the Operations Manager is a high-energy professional who is proactive and self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to think and plan strategically. An individual that has the ability to go above and beyond to get things done in a sales-driven environment. A leader who is capable of working at a high level both administratively in the office and also physically in the field. The Operations Manager will help to manage the day to day of the business, but also motivate and help grow our outstanding field crew to deliver our world renowned service, leading by example!

    TRAINING: You can expect to spend Weeks 1 thru 4 working out in the field alongside our Junk Removal field crews to grasp a full understanding of the service we provide. You need to learn the business before you can help run it!

    COMPENSATION: $45K-$65K/yr, $10K annual performance bonus potential, 2 weeks paid vacation, Simple IRA, Healthcare Reimbursement program

    LOCATION: Pittsburgh, PA

    DAYS/HOURS: 50 hours per week (Flexibility needed for some weekend coverage, as needed)

    START DATE: ASAP

    THE OPERATIONS MANAGER WILL BE DIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE FOR (BUT NOT LIMITED TO) THE FOLLOWING GOALS, PLANS AND KEY INITIATIVES:

    ●      Assist Sr. Operations Manager exceed daily, weekly, monthly and yearly revenue targets

    ●      Supervise in the daily fulfillment of scheduled jobs to ensure on-time service

    ●      Manage training schedule of new staff and help to develop hourly employees’ professional skills in areas such as sales, marketing, customer service, profitability, and safety

    ●      Preparation and management of field crew staffing schedules

    ●      Provide input to the Sr. Operations Manager to build and implement new systems and processes

    ●      Assist with fleet maintenance schedules; including inspections completed, regular maintenance schedule is met, and repairs are performed

    ●      Ensure compliance with all franchise health and safety requirements (including COVID-19 related measures for our staff and customers’ sake)

    ●      Provide positive mentorship and leadership to our field crews

    ●      Continuously drive and develop a positive culture among the field crews

    ●      Work in-field, performing Truck Team tasks, as needed 

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS MUST HAVES:

    ●      A completed Bachelor’s Degree plus 3yrs experience in leadership/management role OR A Business Degree in Operations or related field plus 2yrs experience in a similar service industry

    ●      Team management experience with hourly employee population and its performance

    ●      Experience with performance metrics, process improvement

    ●      Flexibility toward work schedule, depending on time of year and staffing levels

    ●      A valid and clean driver's license, with a reliable vehicle for local errands, if needed

    ●      Professional - in communication and appearance

    ●      Strong organizational and administrative skills

    ●      G-Suite, Google Drive (docs & sheets) experience
