What is a packout?

When someone suffers a loss to their property (think fire, water, or storm damage) we are there to carefully pack up all their belongings, clean them if needed and store them in our climate-controlled warehouse before carefully bringing everything back to them in an effort to get their lives back to normal. We want people on our team who are customer service focused as we are helping our customers go through one the toughest times of their lives.

What will you do?

Your day-to-day responsibilities will be to travel in our trucks and vans to our customer’s house in the Hampton Roads area who have suffered a loss. Sometimes the environment can be difficult, but we provide all the necessary equipment for you to do your job well (PPE, gloves, lights, dollies, moving straps etc.). We communicate with the customer and work with them as we carefully inventory and pack up the affected area and load everything onto our vehicles. Sometimes the content needs to be cleaned before storage and we do that on site at our warehouse in Norfolk using ultrasonic tanks and ozone rooms to restore the items to their pre-loss condition.

Requirements:

Clean Driving record and valid driver’s license

Must pass drug test and background check

Must be willing to show up daily and work hard as a part of a high performing team
