Local auto parts distributor has the need to find a good quality warehouse assistant. The assistant will help the lead warehouseman in receiving and stocking incoming parts orders. We utilize scanning technology to receive and electronically move goods into the parts bins. The scanning technology will update the main computer with bin locations so that we can find the parts once they are sold. The parts are broken down from their inbound status and physically moved into warehouse bin locations. The assistant will also assist in keeping the warehouse neat and orderly to aid smooth running operations. Other duties include: performing cycle counts, preparing parts for outbound shipping and sorting returned parts appropriately. Ideal candidate will be dependable, have excellent attention to detail and be physically able to work in the warehouse. Hours are extremely flexible but will occur between 8 am and 5 pm.
