1 Beyond is a fast-growing entrepreneurial company, delivering innovative software and hardware for audio-visual (AV) installations. Best known for the AutoTracker camera and Automate VX voice-activated camera switching solution, 1 Beyond specializes in solutions for recording, streaming, and video-conferencing.

Customers include top universities like MIT, Harvard, and Stanford; Fortune 500 companies like IBM, General Electric, Johnson & Johnson, and Starbucks; and government agencies like NASA and the U.S. Department of Transportation.

We are looking for talented technical people to assist our customers with implementing our products. They should be as adept in as many of these areas as possible.

• Computer systems support
• Networking expertise

• AV design
• Specialized knowledge of video production and/or audio gear

Responsibilities:

• Be the primary technical contact post-sale, guiding customers through a process where the solution is outlined, deployed, and verified.
• Remotely assist customers during physical installations of our products and validate that products are functioning properly to ensure high customer satisfaction
• Consult with customers and advise on best implementation practices for their specific use case, including identifying opportunities to add value beyond initial scope
• Document the technical installation and configuration plans for customers
• Troubleshoot technical issues on configuration and product related issues
• Provide technical expertise pre-sales when requested

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Trouble-shooting software or hardware or camera or audio issues in real time
• Learning new things quickly
• Working independently as well as in a team
• An entrepreneurial mindset; someone who finds break-through solutions
• Confidence to advise on best practices
• BS / Technical degree

Familiarity with current AV gear is a plus but not required. We're more interested to find someone who is smart and eager to learn things like Dante audio, Creston control, conferencing codecs, and wiring diagrams for AV installs.
