Occupational Therapist
Job Description
• Participate in an initial multidisciplinary evaluation process to help evaluate new clients. • Evaluate, create, and maintain a comprehensive therapy plan for each client. • Provide individual and group therapy to clients focusing on a variety of areas including but not limited to: fine and gross motor, sensory processing, feeding and social skills. • Interact with and educate parents on helpful therapy approaches and in-home strategies to facilitate generalization of skills. • Provide team-based, collaborative approach for therapy planning and implementation. • Maintain current Illinois license, NBCOT certification, and necessary continuing education requirements. • Adhere to the ethical standards of the profession- AOTA and ILOTA guidelines and ensure HIPAA Compliance. • Supervise support personnel COTAs/OTAs and interns when necessary.

Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. • Licensed Occupational Therapist with a minimum of 1-year experience working with children on the autism spectrum. • Must complete and maintain certification in CPI Training. • CPR/First Aid Certified or will train on site. • Knowledge of discipline specific assessment tools and procedures
