Position Details

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:15 AM – 1:45 PM Job Type:Part-Time/Year Round Pay Range: $17.36 – $20.00 per hour

Kidtastic Kids is seeking a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 Aide/Paraprofessional to provide individualized support to a student with special needs in our Special Education Preschool program. This rewarding role focuses on helping children succeed academically, socially, and emotionally while fostering independence in a supportive classroom environment.

Working alongside teachers, therapists, and families, you will play an important role in helping children reach their full potential.

Responsibilities

Provide consistent one-to-one support to a student throughout the school day

Implement accommodations and strategies outlined in the student's Individualized Education Program (IEP) and behavior support plans

Assist with classroom activities, academic tasks, transitions, and daily routines

Support the development of social skills, emotional regulation, and positive behaviors

Assist with personal care needs as required, including toileting, feeding, hygiene, and mobility support

Collect and document data related to student progress, behavior, and goals

Communicate effectively with teachers, therapists, and supervisory staff regarding student needs and progress

Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

Follow all program policies, confidentiality requirements, and applicable state regulations

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Experience working with children with special needs preferred, but not required

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Strong communication, patience, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times

Must meet all state and program background clearance requirements
