In this essential role, you will help maintain the safety, security, and order of our detention facilities while upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.

What We Offer

• Starting Compensation: $54,000 annually
• $10,000 Sign-On Bonus (paid in equal payments bi-weekly in your first year)
• $100 Monthly Transportation Allowance (each month for a year)

Key Responsibilities

As a Detention Officer, you will:

• Supervise and monitor inmate activities and daily facility operations
• Enforce rules, regulations, and security procedures
• Ensure the safety of staff, inmates, and visitors
• Respond to emergencies with confidence, professionalism, and leadership
• Maintain accurate reports and documentation
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 20 years of age
• Valid Georgia Driver’s License (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
• U.S. Citizen
• Ability to pass a background investigation, drug screening, and physical fitness test
