    ** Position Details: Exchange Assistant**

    The Exchange Assistant is a key position that supports the team by working with both internal and external customers to initiate, process, and close 1031 exchange transactions. Specific job responsibilities include:

    • Review Real Estate Purchase Agreements
    • Open exchanges and create relevant documents
    • Send out appropriate correspondence and professionally field inquiry calls
    • Monitor timelines to ensure smooth closings
    • Perform clerical duties such as filing, faxing, mailings, etc.
    • Oversee collection of outstanding documentation for closings
    • Perform basic accounting duties, not limited to the following: open/close savings accounts, collect proper fees, follow up on outstanding checks and invoices
    • Maintain operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes
    • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed
    • Other duties as assigned

    Job Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
    • Ability to pass a background check
    • A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel on occasion as needed
    • 1-3 years of previous experience in title insurance, lending, or real estate is preferred
    • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Google Suite and/or Microsoft Suite
    • Ability to provide outstanding customer service
    • Dependability, strong work ethic and punctuality
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast paced environment

    Job Type: Full-Time

    Schedule: Monday to Friday

    Work Location: In person
