Position Purpose:

This is a business development opportunity for a premier real estate Qualified Intermediary. This individual should already be established in the 1031 exchange / real estate community with a book of business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Identify and target potential clients in the real estate market pursue leads to utilize our exchange services
• Develop relationships with prospective clients, while maintain existing client relationships
• Conducting educational seminars
• Networking with organizations and individuals to grow business by attending events and conferences
• Possess a strong understanding of our services, our competition in the industry and positioning
• Follow the latest industry developments

Education & Skills Required:

• Three (3) years of experience within the 1031 exchange industry
• Book of business required
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to conduct educational seminars
• Ability to work on your own with minimal direction
• Four (4) year BA/BS degree required in any of the related fields – real estate, business, etc.
• Experience with tax and real estate concepts preferred, but not required
• Sales oriented individual who is a self-starter
• Well connected in the real estate investment community
