About the Job
As a Massage Therapist, you will perform a variety of body treatments—including deep tissue, sports, pregnancy, Shiatsu, Ayurvedic, and hot/cold stone massages—while adhering to spa protocols and safety standards. You will assess guest needs, recommend appropriate therapies, maintain treatment areas, collaborate with the team, and participate in ongoing education to ensure the highest quality of service. Duties and Responsibilities:
Deliver all massage and body treatments in accordance with spa protocols, rituals, and standards of excellence.
Demonstrate expertise in a variety of treatments, including deep tissue, pregnancy, Shiatsu, sports, Ayurvedic, hot/cold stone massages, and more.
Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless, high-quality guest experiences.
Assess guest needs and provide personalized treatment and home care recommendations.
Maintain a warm, professional, and approachable demeanor with guests and colleagues.
Uphold the highest standards of professional appearance, conduct, and ethics.
Adhere to strict sanitation, cleanliness, and safety standards throughout the spa.
Build and maintain a loyal client base through exceptional service and follow-up.
Manage treatment suite inventory and complete all quality assurance documentation.
Actively participate in team meetings, training, and continuing education opportunities.
Embrace coaching, role-playing, and skill development to continually improve services.
Support marketing initiatives, special events, and cross-promotions as needed.
Make referrals to other team members for complementary treatments or services.
Mentor and evaluate new team members to foster growth and skill development.
Assist with daily spa operations, including cleaning, laundry, and overall presentation.
Demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and a positive attitude while achieving personal and team goals.
Qualifications :
Valid massage license and body wrap license.
Proficiency in multiple massage modalities, aromatherapy, and advanced body treatments.
Experience with Hydrotherapy, Vichy Shower, and other spa-specific equipment.
Strong guest service orientation with the ability to deliver a memorable spa experience.
Ability to follow protocols and instructions with precision and consistency.
