TECHNICAL ACCOUNT MANAGER OVERVIEW
A 1099 Pro Technical Account Manager works directly with 1099 Pro’s Corporate Suite customers, which are generally Fortune 500 companies or other public entities, and generally interacts with the both the business and technical teams of 1099 Pro's customers. Therefore, 1099 Pro Technical Account Managers are expected to have a sound technical background as well as the ability to learn the 1099 Pro software and some basics about financial reporting guidelines. The financial reporting is generally structured around federal and state reporting of information returns such as 1099, W-2, 1042-S, ACA 1095, and FATCA/CRS. In regards to the technical background, our preferred skill set is to have experience with Microsoft Excel, Windows Server, Microsoft IIS Server, and SQL Server.
Typical job duties include: helping customers to use the software and achieve desired outcomes, on-boarding new customers with software/SQL/IIS Server installations, troubleshooting software or other technical issues, providing software training or other guidance to customers, and helping to perform in-depth testing on software releases.
Finally, a Technical Account Manager is responsible for an inside sales function of guiding customers to the best-fitting 1099 Pro product/service and providing Corporate Suite software webinar demonstrations for interested customers. This means that the Technical Account Manager must be articulate emails well and interact with customers.
1099 Pro also has a variety of projects that Technical Account Managers can work on during any down-time, such as: web-design/updates, quality assurance testing, custom report generation, assisting with marketing projects, and process documentation via video creation – all of which provide growth opportunities within 1099 Pro.
