Senior Business Analyst
Description: 180 Health Partners works with health plans and physicians to identify, engage and support women who are pregnant and dependent on opioids, through the process of detoxification, to prevent babies from being born dependent on opioids.
Overview: The Senior Business Analyst gathers and analyzes healthcare data from multiple sources. The Senior Business Analyst also extracts trends and business insights from data to assist the organization in being profitable, measuring effectiveness, cost of service, optimize and streamlining processes. Will be responsible for creating board reports and providing insight – trends and opportunities for the business. To succeed in this role, the Senior Business should be analytical and resourceful. They should also be an excellent communicator who’s able to tell the story behind the data to non-technical audiences and should also have experience in the healthcare industry.
This role requires an individual who is analytical, resourceful, inquisitive, a diligent problem solver with the ability to explain technical information in non-technical terms.

Responsibilities:
Aggregate data from different sources and produce analyses to inform strategic planning efforts throughout the organization.
Analyze data to assist in delivering optimal healthcare management and decision making
Build models that explain what could happen if a certain KPI or other data point(s) change.
Partner with business and marketing stakeholders to identify and capture opportunities and strategies to grow and improve performance
Create executive-level presentations using data visualization techniques (PowerBI, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
Conduct qualitative and quantitative research formally and informally, building models that explain what could happen if a certain KPI or other data point(s) change.
Promotes responsible and ethical stewardship of 180 resources.
Maintains excellent punctuality and attendance during work hours.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree with major in Math, Statistics, Informatics or related field
3+ years of experience driving analytics to impact a business
Solid mathematical or statistics background
Experience with data visualization tools
Strong background in quantitative thinking and statistical data analysis
Mental flexibility, including ability to dive deep into details of the data to ensure quality while understanding the big picture objectives of a given project
Ability to understand complex issues and develop meaningful analyses and recommendations for executive management
Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Well organized and detailed oriented – precision and accuracy are critical
Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Preferred Experience:
Public health
Medicare or Medicaid
A background in maternal/substance abuse populations
