WE'RE A SMALL GIANT WITH A PROVEN TRACK RECORD OF GETTING PLACEMENT ON MAJOR RETAILOR SHELVES BY DARING TO SIMPLY TRY HARDER, AND TRULY FOCUS ON CREATING MOMENTS OF MAGICAL DELIGHT AND SUSTENANCE FOR OUR CUSTOMER, WHETHER THAT BE A YOUNG PROFESSIONAL IN THE OFFICE, OR A MOTHER PICKING SNACKS FOR HER FOUR KIDS.
OBJECTIVE KEY RESULTS (OKR):
- Work with multiple internal stakeholders and external contract manufacturers to establish pricing for each deal
- Model and present new product costing
- Analyze standard versus actual cost results, provide concise understanding of variances compared to plan. Analyze actual performance compared to the business plans.
- Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost reduction opportunities with supply chain, commodity, logistics, etc.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on inventory level, cost of goods sold, and manufacturing variances.
- Based on cost forecasting expertise, support Operations decision-making projects, providing timely analytical support.
- Advise on manufacturing costing activities and provide improvement strategies that the company should take. Forecasting impacts of suggested improvements.
- Assist with cost reporting automation and cross-functional process improvement projects.
TECHNICAL PROFICIENCIES:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Accounting, or related field would be helpful but not necessary
- PROVEN EXPERIENCE IN ANALYZING COSTS AND MAKING DECISIONS USING DATA
- PASSION FOR BUILDING AND LAUNCHING NEW ITEMS INTO THE WORLD
- PASSION FOR CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT OF PROCESSES, AUTOMATING AND REORGANIZING WHERE POSSIBLE
- PASSION FOR BUILDING BEAUTIFUL, EFFECTIVE REPORTING SYSTEMS THAT UNLOCK OPPORTUNITIES
- Strong time management, planning and prioritization skills
- Competent Microsoft skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
- Professional written and verbal communication skills, with excellent client facing skills (external) and the ability to communicate at all levels within the organization (internal)
- Ability to work with and build effective relationships with sales, plants, suppliers and customers
- Ability to learn our business, be a team player and enjoy working in a team-oriented environment
- Strong problem solving/decision-making skills, interpersonal skills, and analytical capabilities
- Good general understanding of business and financial first principles.
