    Attadale is a boutique and entrepreneurial management consultancy and maintains multiple partnerships with leading global technology companies, including AWS and Microsoft, and we are seeking an experienced and motivated relationship-oriented sales professional to aggressively grow and develop our Microsoft consulting practice. You will be supported by an outstanding team of software engineers, machine learning engineers, data scientists, and operational consultants who will back-up your practice growth by delivering the worlds best operational and technology solutions.

    What are we asking you to do?

    This is a new position and a strategic investment by Attadale in the Microsoft partnership. We are seeking to recruit a team member to drive the growth of Attadales Microsoft Practice along three strategic dimensions:

    • Grow Attadales client portfolio and create long-term relationship by leveraging your client development and sales expertise to introduce new clients and expand existing clients.
    • Leverage your deep relationships with Microsoft to maximize the Attadale-Microsoft partnership by unlocking Microsoft resources, client opportunities, and direct investments.
    • Direct Attadales capability development in Microsoft service and product development to enable your success and power our growth.

    This new role provides the ambitious leader an exciting opportunity to define and shape the Microsoft practice at Attadale, and to grow and expand the role, the team, and the opportunities. Attadale prides itself in looking for exceptional talent by digging behind the resume. We would consider experienced candidates not yet ready for full-time retirement, or those looking to transition to an entrepreneurial environment. However, this role is not suitable to the recent college graduate or those without prior successful track record across all three dimensions.

    You may be based anywhere, but preferably you are located in the Chicago area so you may join the rest of the company and be an active part of our dynamic team. Chicago offers a vibrant city life, access to world-class cultural programs, active outdoors lifestyle, and fanatic sports fans! Not to mention a more affordable cost-of-living than either coast can offer.

    Travel is temporarily restricted owing to COVID-19, but we anticipate 25% domestic travel could be possible, and applicants should have a valid passport and drivers license.

    Your success will drive your compensation

    We are open to collaboratively designing a compensation package that works for both parties, but a base plus commission model will be the preferred structure. Attadale offers competitive fringe benefits.

    REQUIREMENTS

    What kind of skills are required?

    • Sales: Paramount to your success is the ability to introduce new clients and new revenue opportunities to Attadale, while developing long lasting relationships. But this role is more than sales.
    • Solution expansion: While Attadale remains focused on Azure Cognitive services, our new Microsoft practice lead will understand the full suite of Microsoft offerings such as Modern Workplace, and be able to lead the expansion of our Microsoft solutions.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Partner Network: utilize your past experience to leverage the tools and resources available through the Microsoft CED and Partner Network.
    • Technical competency: We solve complex problems, and our PhDs and Master degreed staff will expect you to have a technical competency that drives your passion.
    • Go-to-market strategies: Influence investments in our product and solution development and make recommendations on demonstration platforms and market place solution builds.

    Of course, collegiality, collaboration, and high expectations are requirements, along with outstanding communication skills.

    the successful candidate will outline tangible success stories that clearly demonstrate how they have previously delivered on all three dimensions above. The successful candidate will be able to develop and share a roadmap and strategy for Attadale that achieves the objectives defined and leverages your experience and expertise. You will be able to prove the following experience:

    • Strategy development with multi-phase execution and delivery
    • Background in large-scale, multi-year enterprise change management
    • Executive communications, engagement and influence
    • Knowledgeable of the Microsoft partner ecosystem and programs
