Innovative, employee-owned construction company with uncharted growth in the Northeastern United States seeks a Chief Estimator to oversee all preconstruction efforts and estimating for their growing office in Washington D.C.  This director-level position is with an award-winning General Contractor known for their landmark, unique projects throughout the U.S.  

Required Skills & Experience:

• 15+ years of experience within the construction industry estimating ground-up construction projects across ALL divisions.
• Must have a proven background estimating projects valued at $50 Million or more.
• Experience developing conceptual, schematic, design development and construction projects for CM projects.
• Local subcontractor relationships with ability to develop subcontractor bid packages and scopes of work. 
• Professional background working on higher ed, corporate, hospitality, life sciences and/or museum projects a plus.
• Experience reviewing proposals and participating in the business development process.
• Ability to manage a large team of Estimators and provide necessary training, mentoring and leadership to develop a high-performing team.
• A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management and/or Engineering is preferred.
