Job Title: Superintendent

Summary: We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to join our client's team in Washington DC. The ideal candidate will have 6-10 years of construction industry experience, with a strong background in managing construction projects in various sectors including healthcare, hospitality, aviation, data center, and federal. The candidate must have experience managing projects of greater than $50 million and be willing and capable of managing projects throughout the DC metropolitan area. This role is with a Top 20 national general contractor known for their career development programs and commitment to their employees.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and successful project completion.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Communicate regularly with project stakeholders to provide updates and address any issues that arise.
• Oversee all aspects of project buyout, vendor relations, materials ordering, and related responsibilities.
• Mentor and train junior team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a similar field.
• 6-10 years of construction industry experience.
• Experience managing projects in healthcare, hospitality, aviation, data center, and federal sectors.
• Experience managing projects of greater than $50 million.
• Willingness and capability to manage projects throughout the DC metropolitan area.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
