Job Description

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following tasks:

• Design and prototype elegant/informative user interfaces and data presentation
• Conduct concept and usability studies
• Collaborate with project leadership, customers, end users, and software developers
• Support proposals, marketing and technical presentations with complex illustrations
• Stay abreast of advancements in UX science and applied techniques
• Conduct training for teammates and/or customers

Qualifications

Essential job skills include:

• Software development experience – web applications, visual models, GUIs
• Portfolio of work illustrating knowledge of modern user experience techniques
• Data visualization experience including dashboards and complex data presentation
• Experience with 2 and 3D geographical data modeling and frameworks
• Knowledge of Big Data visualization techniques
• Strong interpersonal skills and strong attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Work independently with minimal supervision

General Requirements:

• 4-8 years of related experience
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
• US Citizenship required

Education Requirements:

• Education in related field, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
