OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

DUTIES:

Manage the profit opportunities in the territory through sales, marketing and customer support.

• Keep the territory sales funnel full through referrals from satisfied customers and seeking out future opportunities to achieve goals.
• Be a resource to customers.
• Define a customer’s needs, qualifying for fit and creating compelling solutions using sound design principles and understanding of related construction requirements.
• Maintain customer information in the company’s database system.
• Forecast and reporting to management.
• Attend trade shows, association meetings, factory and company training sessions.
• Be prepared to travel 30% of the time through your territory.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years of outside sales experience in a B2B account management environment
• Knowledge of construction or landscape design principles
• Reliable transportation
• Fluent in spoken and written English; conversational in Spanish desired
