    In house underwriting and processing.

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Prequalify mortgage loans by taking application and examining supporting documentation; estimating applicant credit-worthiness.
    • Enter applicant information into loan origination system accurately.
    • Evaluate various loan programs and affordable financing plans from a broad range of mortgage options.
    • Educate and advise clients on how to best manage their mortgage application process.
    • Ensure exceptional client experiences with ongoing communication throughout the entire loan process.
    • Interact daily with Loan Production Manager to ensure that all documentation and loan requirements are met prior to submission to underwriting.
    • Follow up with satisfied clients and potentially earn referrals from them.
    • Achieve and/or exceed production goals

    REQUIREMENT'S:

    • Must have current active NMLS license in CA and other states.
    • Registration with the National Multi-state Licensing System & Registry (NMLS) is required prior to and while performing any duties of a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO).
    • Outstanding customer service, sales and consulting skills
    • Obtain and maintain individual state license(s), and SAFE act compliance
    • Understanding of Federal Regulations governing Real Estate Lending
    • Conduct business in compliance with State and Federal regulations

    This position requires NMLS registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z. You will be subject to the required registration process, which includes a criminal background and credit check. Failure to meet or maintain any of the NMLS registration requirements, including maintaining a satisfactory criminal and credit record, may result in a rescission of your offer or termination of employment.
