    1st Shift Assembly Technician (Contract-to-Hire)

    This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, including the ability to read and interpret blueprints. Candidates should be comfortable with a more physically active role, as the position involves frequent movement and handling of parts

    Must be flexible and willing to cross-train/help out in other areas

    Location: Pewaukee, WI

    Pay Rate: $17.00 - $20.00/hour (Based on experience)

    Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:00 PM Job ID: 1923

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform mechanical assembly and sub-assembly using hand tools.
    • Complete manufacturing tasks efficiently with minimal supervision.
    • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
    • Adhere to all safety regulations.
    • Willingness to cross-train and assist in other areas as needed.

    Position Requirements

    • High school diploma or GED; manufacturing experience preferred.
    • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
    • Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in standard office equipment and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher).
    • Competency in basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
    • Ability to stand or walk on concrete for up to 4 hours and lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
    • Regularly required to talk, hear, sit, and use hands for tasks. Occasional standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling may be required.
    • Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, along with the ability to focus.
