Mechanical Assembler

1st Shift 6am-230pm+overtime
$22 an hour-Mon-Fri +weekends
The assembler position works on the electrical and mechanical assembly and final integration of products. This position is for an experienced individual with 2+ years of experience building assemblies and sub-assemblies and wiring of components.
Primary Job Responsibilities · Assemble products to completion following electrical drawings and schematics
· Read/Interpret electrical and mechanical assembly fabrication drawings
· Work independently and follow a schedule
· Participate in shop cleanup activities
· Communicate with Shop Leads regarding quality and production schedules
· Assist coworkers with other tasks as assigned
· Operate within the requirements of an ISO 9001 Quality System
· Work with Quality, Environmental, H&S employees to ensure and maintain compliance with safety, operational, and regulatory standards of Quality
· Has the obligation to be aware of and comply with environmental, safety policies and regulations and always endures duties of high-quality standards
Job Requirements ·
Ability to understand assembly prints
· Mechanical aptitude; excel at the physical assembly of parts
· Experience in production line assembly and fine manipulation of components and wiring.
· Advanced knowledge and working experience of handheld power tools/drills up to highest torque 65 in-lbs
Physical Demands
The employee is frequently required to stand; use hands to finger, handle or manipulate objects, tools, keyboards or controls
· Reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear
· Occasionally required to walk, sit; and may also be required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
· Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
