Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM (10-hour shifts)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious CNC Vertical Mill Operator to join our team in Pewaukee, Wisconsin. This is a great contract-to-hire opportunity with a consistent 1st shift schedule, offering a strong work-life balance with a four-day work week.

As a CNC Vertical Mill Operator, you will be responsible for producing precision parts by operating a CNC vertical machine. You'll cut and deburr materials to meet specific job requirements and inspect parts to ensure they meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a CNC vertical machine to cut material according to job specifications.

• Inspect parts using various inspection equipment to ensure quality and precision.

• Deburr parts using fabrication equipment to meet job criteria.

• Operate all equipment safely, identifying and reporting any potential safety concerns.

• Maintain equipment and the work area to ensure a clean and safe environment.

• Perform other duties as assigned to support production goals.

Qualifications

• At least one year of successful performance in a shop environment.

• Ability to set up and operate various cutting machines, including a cold saw, band saw, and lathe.

• Experience with deburring machines is required.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
