Job Title: Material Handler II
Location: Fort Worth TX 76177
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- Overtime required as needed (up to 5:00 PM)
- Peak Season Overtime:
- Mandatory overtime every Monday through August
- Potential daily overtime from June 22 – July 9 during Prime Day and 4th of July sales
- No weekends required
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Material Handler II to support warehouse operations during our peak season. This position plays a key role in moving materials efficiently throughout the facility and assisting with inbound and outbound freight, including high-volume e-commerce fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manually or using a hand truck, move materials, supplies, and finished goods throughout the facility
- Load and unload inbound shipments, including ocean containers
- Support e-commerce order fulfillment operations (picking, staging, and preparing shipments)
- Transport items to designated storage areas or outbound trucks
- Maintain organization and cleanliness within the warehouse
- Follow all safety protocols and operational procedures
- Assist with additional warehouse tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 85 lbs on a regular basis
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical labor throughout the workday
- Must be reliable and punctual, especially during peak season
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Must be open to frequent overtime during peak periods
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or material handling experience
- Experience unloading containers and working in fulfillment or distribution environments
- Familiarity with hand trucks or basic warehouse equipment
