JOB DETAILS:
• Title: Account Specialist
• Pay: $25 per hour
• Shift: Mon – Fri: 7 am-4 pm/ 8 am- 5pm
• 30 minute lunch break and two 15 minute paid breaks
JOB DESCRIPTION:
For the first month, what they will mainly be doing is processing invoices. Ervin Cable specializes in fiber optic network construction and installation. The Account Specialist will be reading a map that shows where each cable line was installed per customer. For example: if a customer wants a cable to go from point A to point B then the Account Specialist will log that information and bill them accordingly. After that first month is over then they will add further administrative tasks:
• Process employee and subcontractor invoices daily for input into their accounting/ payroll systems
• Provide administrative support by performing general billing duties
• Compiling data into Microsoft Excel
• Receive, organize, file, and maintain documents and/or data for an assigned department/project
• Communicate with employees, contractors, vendors, and/or customers to assist assigned department/project
• Completing corrections in the system (Reviewing and fixing any mistakes made)
• Additional Duties as assigned
JOB REQUIRES:
• A good working knowledge of general office functions
• Proficient in the use of Google Workspace and spreadsheet software with emphasis on Microsoft Office
• Proficient organizational and detail oriented skills
• Ability to use a computer and other office related equipment
• Ability to read, understand, interpret, input, and analyze data

QUALIFICATIONS:
• To be considered for this position, a candidate must possess the ability to sit for long periods, while using repetitive and/or fine hand movements to complete computer related tasks and/or other office functions
• The ability to communicate with Company personnel, customers, and contractors to ensure tasks are completed
• The ability to work proficiently, with or without supervision;
• Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in the use of office hardware and software. (PCs, Tablets, Printers, Copiers, Microsoft, Google, etc.)
• Excellent Customer Service skills and strong English language skills both oral and written
