    Position Summary

    The Materials Handler is a critical operational role responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely management of all physical inventory, supporting internal work orders and external sales fulfillment. The ideal candidate possesses an exceptional commitment to numerical accuracy, strong organizational skills, and the ability to maintain inventory integrity in a fast-paced environment.

    Location: Pewaukee, WI

    Salary: $19-$21 per hr.

    **Hour Shift:**6am-2pm

    Key Responsibilities

    Inventory and Fulfillment

    • Order Processing: Fulfill all parts and materials requests for urgent work orders or sales orders promptly and accurately to meet production and sales demands.

    • Stock Replenishment: Systematically replenish stock locations from secondary storage areas, meticulously verifying the correct part name/number and unit count during every transfer.

    • Inventory Control: Maintain the highest level of inventory accuracy by performing precise physical counts for all products being added to or taken from stock.

    • Quality Assurance: Visually confirm that the material being replenished or retrieved exactly matches the designated bin’s part number to prevent fulfillment errors.

    Communication and Operations

    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Cultivate positive and effective communication and relationships within the immediate team and across all interfacing departments (e.g., Production, Sales).

    • Other Duties: Execute additional operational duties as assigned by management to ensure efficient facility operation.

    Position Requirements

    Education and Experience

    • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.

    Skills and Abilities

    • Accuracy: Demonstrated high degree of numerical accuracy and meticulous attention to detail is paramount.

    • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and the capacity to meet strict deadlines and operational goals despite unexpected obstacles or time constraints.

    • Teamwork: Proven ability to be a collaborative team player, interacting positively and constructively with staff members at all organizational levels.

    • Technical Proficiency: Ability to utilize standard office equipment.

    • Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs, including Word, Excel , and Outlook.

    • Mathematical Acumen: Ability to accurately add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

    Physical Demands

    • Lifting: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.

    • Endurance: Must be able to walk or stand on concrete for up to 4 hours at a time.

    • Mobility: The employee is regularly required to talk or hear, frequently required to sit, use hands to finger/handle objects/tools/controls, and reach with hands or arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.

    • Vision: Specific vision abilities are required by this job (e.g., close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus).
