    Tool Room Model Shop Machinist—Pewaukee, WI

    Are you an experienced machinist with a strong background in precision manufacturing? We're seeking a skilled **toolroom model shop machinist to **join our client's team in Pewaukee, WI.

    This is a full-time, first-shift position , working Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

    Compensation

    • Pay Rate: $30
    • $35 per hour

    Key Responsibilities

    As a Tool Room Model Shop Machinist, you will be responsible for

    • Working from digital drawings and sketches to produce high-quality components.

    • Applying advanced shop mathematics and interpreting complex drawings to ensure precise specifications are met.

    • Setting up and operating a variety of model shop toolroom machines, including grinders, engine lathes, and manual mills , to manufacture components with close tolerances and exact finish specifications.

    • Performing all assigned machine and bench operations to alter and/or repair components or products of fairly complex design.

    • Creating or improvising specialized tooling, holding jigs, and fixtures to assist in the manufacture or modification of products.

    • Demonstrating familiarity with the heat treatment process of steel.

    • Accurately reporting labor, completed parts, tooling requirements, and machine downtime using ERP software.

    Qualifications

    * High school diploma or equivalent.

*  **3+ years of relevant experience.**

* Experience with **Hurco vertical mills **is a plus, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
