PROPERTY & CASUALTY INSURANCE AGENT – PRODUCER

We are seeking an energetic, self-starter who can work independently, and does not require direct supervision. This position will give you the opportunity to show off your sale skills and be rewarded for your hard work. You will work to develop, manage, expand relationships with existing clients, and develop relationships with new clients and referral sources. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, relationship building skills, a positive and can-do attitude, good time management skills, and always present yourself in a professional way. The position will require you to work in and out of the office, some evening and weekends will be required to meet the needs of our current and prospective clients.

Responsibilities Include:

-Sell personal lines insurance products to include, but not limited to: Home, condo, renters, townhouse,

-Maintaining consistent and high-quality service to clients & prospective clients.

-Support, help and work with other team members with a positive & helpful attitude

• Identify and cultivate new prospects through network relationships, strategic

   partners, and industry events and through direct prospecting efforts.

-Identify cross-selling opportunities and increase sales.

-Develop relationships with individuals responsible for insurance decisions and obtain their business.

-Join business networking and volunteer groups to development relationships and obtain their insurance business and/or establish referral sources.

-Determine prospective clients insurance needs, quote, present, answer any questions and make changes to policies as needed.

-Research and respond to clients’ questions and/or concerns about their policies or prospective clients polices.

-Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

 ·        MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS ARE A MUST. A HIGHER SALARY WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH LENGTHY YEARS OF SALES EXPERIENCE IN AN INDEPENDENT INSURANCE AGENTS OFFICE.

·        TO BE CONSIDERED YOU MUST HAVE AN OUTGOING PERSONALITY, PROFESSIONAL DRESS/APPEARANCE, WILLINGNESS TO ALWAYS HELP OTHERS (BOTH AGENCY STAFF AND CUSTOMERS) AND A CARING & POSITIVE ATTITUDE.

·        YOU MUST BE KIND, COURTEOUS, RESPECTFUL, AND CONSIDERATE TO OUR CUSTOMERS AND CO-WORKERS. BEING DISRESPECTFUL WILL NEVER BE ACCEPTED.

MINIMUM of 3 or more years’ working as a Personal Lines Agency Producer in an

                   independent insurance agency.

MINIMUM of 3 or more years’ holding a Property & Casualty insurance license in

                  California. Holding a Life & Health license in CA is a plus, but not

                   required.

MINIMUM of 3 or more years’ experience working with Microsoft programs:

                    Word, Office, Outlook.

MINIMUM of 3 or years’ Experience working directly with customers

                    inside/outside of an independent insurance agent’s office.

MINIMUM of 3 or more years of experience developing referral pipelines and

                    various referral sources.

MINIMUM of 3 or more years’ experience working with a personal line quoting

                   system, such as Ezlynx.

EXPERIENCE working with Ezlynx agency management system is a plus.

                     Bilingual is a plus, but not required.

All Employees/Prospective employees must have received all 3 vaccination shots for COVID -19.

WORK LOCATION: Fullerton, CA. 

SALARY:  This position is a W-2 position and provides a base salary and commission

               for new policies sold. Base salary is based on your experience. Those with

               lengthy experience will receive a higher base salary.

YOUR CHOICE OF WORKING HOURS:

8:00 am to 4:00 pm

8:30 am to 4:30 pm

9:00 am to 5:00 pm
