Are you a dedicated and experienced caregiver? A compassionate and skilled male or female caregiver is needed. Experience in caring for obese patients and operating a Hoyer lift (with assistance) is essential.

Location: Chapel Hill, NC area

Shift Availability:

Monday - Saturday: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM (Noon)

Sunday: 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Responsibilities:

Assisting an obese patient with daily activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene (bathing, dressing, grooming).

Safe and proficient operation of a Hoyer lift, requiring the assistance of another person, to facilitate patient transfers and mobility.

Providing companionship and emotional support to create a comfortable and engaging environment.

Monitoring and reporting any changes in the patient's condition or health status to the appropriate individuals.

Qualifications:

Must be an CNA

Minimum of 1-2 years experience in a caregiving role, with a strong preference for experience with obese patients.

Proven ability to safely and effectively operate a Hoyer lift with assistance.(Free Training Offered, if no experience)

CPR and First Aid certification (preferred, not mandatory).

TB Test (You will have 30 days to submit).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and empathetic demeanor.

Ability to work independently while adhering to care plans and safety protocols.

Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

Must pass a background check as required by NC law.

Compensation:

$20 - $22 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
