We have an opportunity for a Managing Director responsible for designing, implementing and executing sustainability initiatives working closely with member companies’ sustainability representatives and external stakeholders to advance the overall sustainability strategy through planning, partnerships, collaboration and advocacy.

Major Duties and Responsibilities include:

Works with EVP and member company representatives to execute an established strategy focused on key issue areas, including climate, water, air, product safety and circularity. Will oversee future build-out of the program to be consistent with the Sustainability Principles and strategy, as developed and directed by the Board Sustainability Committee.

Directs staff and coordinates member teams to deliver against sustainability strategy milestones and programs, including member companies reporting of designated sustainability metrics.

Identifies opportunities and implements strategies to deliver approaches that advance sustainability objectives both within the industry and to downstream markets.

Seeks opportunities to elevate industry’s credibility, reputation and standing with key stakeholders through collaboration and partnerships.

Salary depends on experience.
