    Job Description

    Network Processing: This is the team behind VisaNet, the payments network that connects consumers and merchants with financial institutions. The team strives to maintain quality through high-availability and high volume to enable industry collaboration and innovation today and tomorrow.

    VIP Middleware Applications

    • Develop / maintain efficient applications, communication, database and operating systems code capable of processing large message volumes in a quickly evolving payments world
    • Provide support and problem resolution for Visa’s online authorization system
    • Perform business and technical analysis, design, code, unit/system test, implementation and documentation of solutions
    • Develop on multiple operating systems using multiple languages
  • Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications

    ++Undergrad NCG++

    • Minimum of 6 months of work experience or a Bachelor's Degree
    • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, graduating January 2021 - August 2022
    • Minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 (or equivalent scale)
    • Experience with application design, development experience, or equivalent education background

    Preferred Qualifications

    • C/C++ and OO design
    • Experience with communication protocols, databases (SQL, NoSQL) and Linux a plus
    • Strong oral and written communications skills, and the ability to work well within a team setting
    • Ability to develop technical specifications from high-level business requirements using efficient coding techniques to produce well-structured, easily maintainable code
    • Ability to stay focused and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
