Bloomberg runs on data, and data drives the market. Our Data team acquires and supplies this data to our clients. Teams work collaboratively to collect, analyze, process and publish the data which is the backbone of our iconic Bloomberg Terminal - the data ultimately feeding and moving the financial markets.

The Role:

Global Data Analytics is the front line of customer service for Data supporting both internal and external clients. As a Client Support Intern, you will have the opportunity to learn how we support Bloomberg clients through our Help Desk, which will allow you to develop general financial market knowledge and a proven understanding of the inner workings of Bloomberg's customer service technology. You will also apply your project management skills and problem-solving abilities to assist in the implementation of strategic solutions to improve the client experience and team workflows/procedures. Global Data Analytics is a global team that interacts with all areas of the business; therefore, the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders in different regions and roles is crucial.

You’ll need to have:

• Strong passion for customer service, finance and data management
• Prior coursework or involvement within a field like Finance, Economics, Information Systems, Mathematics, or other applied sciences 
• Interest in building and maintaining internal/external client relationships
• Currently enrolled in a university with a graduation date of December 2023 or May 2024
• Availability to commit to the entire internship program length (June – August)
• Legal authorization to work full-time in the United States and will not require visa sponsorship now or in the future (U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident/green card holder, refugee, asylee)

We’d love to see:

• Recent work experience, internship or coursework in Finance, Business, Statistics, or related field
• Experience in customer service or client relationship management 
• An interest in customer service and using technology to perform data analysis
• Enthusiasm and commitment to extracurricular activities and interests
