Undergraduate Intern / Co-op Program Overview
(Jan. - Summer 2023) intern / co-op within a functional area of MKS Instruments that provides students a comprehensive and engaging experience from before your program starts to after the program ends.

We are looking for an exceptional COMPLIANCE ENGINEERING CO-OP who can...
Assist with meeting compliance goals/deliverables. This person (Co-op) will be working with compliance engineering team to conduct Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and product safety testing including documentation.
Duties and responsibilities include:
Generate test plans & test reports
Hand-on compliance testing and/or trouble-shooting
Assist with 3rd party testing and certification processes
Compliance files updates
Limited travel to local test lab
What will you bring to the team, along with your curiosity is:
Enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree (EE, EET, CE, or MfgE) or relevant technical program
Familiar with general lab equipment
MS office including PowerPoint and PDF read/write
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Familiar with or knowledge of international standards such as EN/IEC61000-4 Series, Safety standard UL/CSA/EN 61010-1, NEC, etc. - a plus
Experience with Radio-frequency (RF) design - a plus
Experience with safety agency - a plus
