  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    • Learn how to define, measure, analyze and improve process capability of Machining, assembly and test processes.
    • Learn how to establish manufacturing rates, routings and assist in the process of sourcing the parts and components.
    • Assist in the development of proposals and justification for new/replacement capital equipment and provide technical assistance to bring equipment on line with cost and timing requirements.
    • Assist in the development of new manufacturing processes or changes along with Manufacturing Engineering utilizing BPS methodologies.
    • Working with QMM, determine internal quality procedures and implement in manufacturing.
    • Assess possible bottleneck situations in production process.
    • Provide feedback (CIP) to all related areas including Machining, Assembly, Test and/or QMM.
    • Participate in BPS Kaizen events both within and outside your area.
    • Perform other essential and related peripheral duties as may be assigned.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university (ex. CHEA) and pursuing a Bachelors with two semesters completed or Masters degree with at least one semester completed in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
    • Will accept post graduate in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering from an accredited university (ex. CHEA) up to one year.
    • Minimum overall GPA of at least 3.0.
    • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
    • Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
    • Knowledge of CNC machining, programming and tooling.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
