JOB DESCRIPTION:
Proficient in Spanish reading, writing, and speaking; Ability to pass Written Certification Test. Manage reviews of Spanish translations across Consumer & Small Business products and services. Marketing materials are for various channels and servicing areas including ATM, Financial Centers, Digital Content and Mobile Banking, Statements and Direct Mail campaigns, Claims, Fraud, Card and Mortgage letters.
Partners with our enterprise translation agency to monitor quality, ensure consistency across communications and provide updates to the translation memory. Manage overall translation processes for Marketing, including updates to processes, process improvements and communications to the organization as changes occur that may impact the Non-English language translation process.
The successful candidate must be able to work independently to proof-read Spanish translations ensuring translations are accurate with the English version of the material and consistent with terminology used in other Bank of America marketing materials in Spanish. Reviews must be completed in a timely manner through MAP (Marketing Approval Portal) – on average 80 reviews a month.
Minimum Required Skills:
• Proficient in Spanish reading, writing, and speaking; Ability to pass Written Certification Test
• Self-starter with excellent verbal, written, and people skills
• Ability to influence business partners and support management of the vendor
• Ability to identify and escalate concerns/issues with a sense of urgency.
• Builds partnerships and collaborates across teams
Desired Skills:
Proficient with PowerPoint & Excel, Knowledge of banking industry, Detail Oriented, Critical Thinker, Self-Motivated, Strong Organizational Skills, Bachelor degree or equivalent
