Position Summary: To shuttle hotel guests to and from the airport during their stay; Contribute to the guest experience by making it easier and more enjoyable for guest to arrive, check in and stay at the property.
Drives incoming/departing hotel guests between hotel and airport or other approved destinations and assists guests with luggage
Attends and participates in monthly front desk and driver meetings.
Inspects van to ensure that it is in order and that supplies are adequate. Reports damage, accidents or unsafe conditions immediately to supervisor.
Complete and submits daily vehicle inspection and guest count checklists
Offers information pertaining to available services and facilities of hotel, points of interest and entertainment attractions. Answers questions related to airport facilities.
Maintains courtesy van consisting of washing, cleaning, and fueling
Adheres to all local and state laws and brand and owner guidelines pertaining to driver certification and safe transport of guests. No texting or use of cell phones while vehicle is moving.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Skills:
Education
HS Diploma or equivalent
Experience
Strong customer service experience. Hotel industry experience preferred but not required.
Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. 2 years of driving experience.
Licenses/Certifications
Valid Drivers license-No CDL required.
