    Unit Notes:

    • Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam required 24-48hrs prior to acceptance of a position - 2 MAXIMUM ATTEMPTS, ONLY - NO EXCEPTIONS, NO 3RD ATTEMPT ALLOWED

    • COVID vaccine is required, or religious or medical declination form (with appropriate documentation).

    • There is also a pass/fail Sim Lab on day one of orientation (study guides will be provided with first day instructions.

    Unit: B3A - Cardiopulmonary Telemetry and Neuro - 2 years minimum experience, required - # beds: 26 - Certs: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS - Ratios: 1:3-4 - Charge Nurse: Yes, no patient assignment. Also have a Manager in a management role. - Are RNs required to titrate drips? We titrate up/down with orders only. Max rates for Tele and follow the policy criteria - Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Amio, cardizem, cardene, Heparin, Lasix, bumex, etc. - Techs: PCTs - 1 per every 13 patients. - Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend - Holiday Requirements: 2 major holidays, 2 minor depending on contracts - Floating: first to float - Is there call or a standby requirement? There is no 'On call' requirement, staff may be placed on SB due to fluctuating census - Scrub Color: Navy - Tele: Centralized tele. RNs must be able to interpret EKGs. - Vents: Airvo/High Flow - Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: Hospitalist rounds during the day and on call at night. - IV Team: No - RT 24/7: Yes - Pharmacy 24/7: Yes - Shifts: 12 hr shifts. 7-7. - Floor specific orientation: 2 days on the floor. - Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Neuro, CVAs, pulmonary, general Telemetry
